Case Report of Two Boys with Convrension Disorder

Abstract
|
|
|
Two cases of convrersion disorder were presented and their recovering proeesses were reviewed. They were selected among male patients suffering ´from conversion disorder whom the author had treated at Department of neuropsychiatry, St. Marv´s Hospital, Catholic Medical College.
Managing them, the author used treatment procedures such as suggestion, environmental manipulation, medication and psychotherapy. Suggestion was proved to be very effective. They had recovered during one or two months of hospitalization. Recurrence has not been seen for five years since the treatment period was over.
It should be stressed that environmental factors are very important for treatment and prognosis.
